After the success of NEW Year NEW U we are putting on another event to celebrate Women’s International Week.
We are making this event even bigger and better and including Afternoon Tea. We have an amazing range of guest speakers with different messages to share with you. They come from a range of backgrounds and offer support, advice and inspiration to help YOU be the BEST YOU CAN BE.
Here’s the line up:
10.00 Welcome and opening address from Kelly at KMW 4 Women – Kelly will be sharing her top tips on unlocking your potential and stepping out of your comfort zone and into your stretch zone. Kelly has a BA and PGCE and is a facilitator, public speaker and professional trainer. She specialises in Leadership and Professional Development and loves to spread a little bit of pixie dust to help you be the best you can be.
10.30 Michala Leyaland from Wood for Trees’s Coaching – Michala will be discussing the importance of the 3 pillars of Success in life and business. Michala has a PGCE and Post Grad diploma in Business Management, she is an accredited Life Coach, or as she like’s to call it a ‘Clarity Converter.’
11.00 Wendy Moore a Health and Well Being Coach will be sharing her personal story about overcoming adversity by looking after her health. She will be sharing her 3 steps to a healthier happier life.
11.30 Jan Kiermasz a 3rd Dan Taekwondo Instructor will be offering her self defense tips for keeping us all safe. When we feel safe we feel confident, when we feel confident we are braver. When we are brave we can experience more resulting in more success. Jan has kindly shared her self defence tips at a number of KMW 4 Women and it always been well received.
12.00 Pat Harland from Harland Consultancy ‘How aware are you about how your particular thought processes influence outcomes on a day to day basis? Are your thoughts helpful or unhelpful? In this short presentation Pat will show you how particular negative thought processes can hinder you, create doubt, fear and anxiety. She will guide you through 3 simple steps to show you how to change those thoughts. Pat has worked for many years supporting those who need that extra bit of encouragement and specialises in phobias, anxiety and self esteem building.
12.30 Afternoon Tea will be served – a selection of finger sandwiches, homemade cakes, gorgeous scones, clotted cream and strawberry preserve all served on tiered stands and washed down with fresh leaf tea or cafetiere coffee. This event will be hosted in the gorgeous Fleur Ashley Tea Room. We will have this beautiful little Tea Room exclusively just for our event.
13.00 Jan Kiermasz from John Jelly (this time sharing her knowledge as the Digital Queen) will be sharing how to stay safe when using social media. Jan has ran her own business for over 15 years and teaches local businesses how to manage their website, social media and all things digital. Jan has learnt the hard way from being told ‘girls don’t do computers’ to running 2 IT based businesses. She has broken the stereotype and regularly shares her story to help women and our younger generation of girls know they can also do it.
13.30 Jo Howarth is an inspirational speaker, bestselling author and founder of The Happiness Club. She believes that happiness is a choice we are all capable of making every single day. Jo will talk about adversity, why it’s important, how it helps us and how to overcome it.from.

14.30 End and what’s next
These ladies have given their time for you because they know that one small step, meeting just one person, hearing just one thing can make a difference. I am personally passionate about these type of events and truly see the difference they make to women’s lives. If you can not attend please share with those who would benefit. This event is also open to teenage girls so they can be inspired and supported ready for their journey into the world.
